The monthly fee covers hosting, monitoring, and one monthly performance review. This is a productized service with a defined scope — what you see is what you get. Licensing the equivalent tool stack separately (workflow engine, SMTP, managed VPS, CRM seat) would cost more than $59/month on its own.
