HTown Handshakes started as a side project. We used the same systems we build for clients - website, automation, event infrastructure, multi-platform marketing - on ourselves. It grew into 750+ Houston business owners, monthly events across the city, and proof that our tools actually work.

HTown Handshakes is Houston's premier entrepreneur networking community. Monthly events, real relationships, and a culture built on the idea that a genuine handshake still closes deals that digital marketing can't.
It's also the best proof that FlameGrower's systems work - because we built it for ourselves using the exact same tools, workflows, and infrastructure we build for paying clients. Every piece of the HTown Handshakes platform was designed, built, and maintained in-house.

HTown Handshakes gave FlameGrower something no client project could: a long-running, real-world test of every system we build. The website has been iterated dozens of times.
